Jon Bruce

With more than 15 years in post-production, Jon has graded work for major UK broadcasters and international platforms, combining creative colour with extensive experience of broadcast finishing and delivery.

His television credits span scripted and unscripted production, including Shetland, Six Four, For Her Sins, Only Child, Two Doors Down, Killing Sherlock: Lucy Worsley on Conan Doyle, Lucy Worsley Investigates, Imagine…, A Life in Ten Pictures and Murder Case.

His documentary and feature-documentary work includes Mogwai: If the Stars Had a Sound, My Life as Roger Moore, Silent Men and Still Pushing Pineapples.

Jon works closely with directors and cinematographers from early look development through the final grade, with particular experience in long-form television and documentary workflows.

Jon Bruce is a Glasgow-based colourist, online editor and co-founder of BSQUARED, working across television, documentary, scripted drama, feature documentary and commercial projects.

With a vision for building something meaningful, our founder brings a blend of big-picture thinking and hands-on experience. They set the tone for everything we do.
